Dreams Come True

What do you dream about? Is it money, success, health, love? In all of our endeavors, there lies a dream behind our ambitions; even more, that dream may become our passion. According to Rose, new Habitat homeowner and a mother of three, she “had a dream, and [her] dream came true” with the purchase of her new Habitat home.

On Wednesday, July 14th 2010, four new homes in the Stag Horn Villas were dedicated to four grateful families. All of the homes were blessed and presented to the homeowners by Habitat sponsors and staff.  As each family accepted the key to their new home, all their anticipation, sweat, and sacrifice became well worth it. Indeed the ceremony was exciting and moving for not only the families, but also for the sponsors, volunteers, and staff. It was a day to celebrate Habitat homeownership, partnership, and all the dreams that came true.

This special day would not have been possible without the support of our community partners, sponsors, volunteers and homeowners. We would like to thank HD Supply and Exit Realty for their generous support and all our dedicated volunteers for their hard work.
