How to apply

Step 1: Register for an orientation

The first step to becoming a Habitat homeowner is to attend one of the orientations which are held at our office located at 1925 Traylor Blvd.Orlando, FL  32804. From I-4, head west on Princeton Street. Turn right onto Orange Blossom Trail and Traylor Blvd. will be on the left. Orientations are held throughout the year and they are free of charge.

Wed. August 11 @ 6:00 p.m.

Sat. August 28 @ 10:00 a.m.

2nd Step: Attend an orientation

Orientations cover all the information necessary for to apply for a Habitat home. They will review our criteria for accepting applicants as well as how to complete your application and the approval process.

3rd Step: Complete an application

Now that you have attended an orientation you should be able to complete an application and know all the documentation necessary for approval.

4th Step: Meet with Family Services

You will need to set this appoitment as soon as you have completed your applications and are ready to apply. They will review everything to make sure nothing will hinder you from being approved.
Orientations are held throughout the year and they are normally offered every month. Approximate length is 1 ½ hrs and they are free of charge. In order to attend you must register through our local office or online via the dated links above. If you choose to register at our office or call our office please do so between the hours of 10am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
